Can I schedule posts on Facebook without Meta Business Suite?

Yes. Meta Business Suite can schedule posts to your Facebook Page and Instagram account, but it only covers Meta's own apps. If you also post to LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube or a newsletter, you end up planning in several places.

Postuva connects to Facebook through Meta's official Graph API, the same way Business Suite works behind the scenes, and puts your Pages on one calendar with every other network. You write the idea once; AI adapts it for Facebook's more conversational style, LinkedIn's professional tone and X's 280 characters.

How do I schedule a Facebook post with Postuva?

  1. Connect Facebook. Open Channels and press Connect next to Facebook Pages. Facebook's sign-in opens in a pop-up; choose the Pages Postuva may post to.
  2. Check your Pages. Each Page you selected appears as its own channel, so you can post to one Page or several at once.
  3. Write the post. Press New post, write the text and add photos, a video or a link. Links get Facebook's usual preview card.
  4. Tailor it (optional). Press Tailor for each network to get a Facebook version alongside versions for your other channels, then edit any of them.
  5. Schedule. Pick the time and press Schedule. The post appears on the calendar and publishes to the Page at that minute.

Can I schedule posts to a personal Facebook profile or a group?

No, and no legitimate tool can. Meta removed third-party publishing to personal profiles in 2018 and to groups in 2024, so schedulers that claim to post to profiles rely on browser automation that breaks Facebook's terms and can get accounts restricted.

Postuva only posts to Facebook Pages, which is what Meta's API supports. If you're a creator or small business still posting from a personal profile, creating a free Page is the safest way to schedule and gives you Page insights as well.

What kinds of Facebook posts can I schedule?

Text and link posts: up to 63,206 characters, although posts under 80 characters tend to get the most engagement. Paste a link and Facebook builds the preview card from the page's title and image.

Photo posts and albums: up to 10 photos in one post. Postuva uploads them to the Page first and attaches them together, so they appear as one album post rather than ten separate posts.

Video posts: one video per post, published to the Page's video tab and feed. MP4 files with H.264 video work best.

When is the best time to post on Facebook?

Facebook's audience skews older than TikTok's or Instagram's and checks the app throughout the day, often in the early morning, at lunchtime and in the evening. Your Page's Insights (Meta Business Suite → Insights → Audience) shows when your followers are online.

For most Pages, three to five posts a week is a good starting point. Mix formats: a photo or album, a short question to start a conversation, and a link to something useful you've published. Scheduling a week at a time means the Page stays active on busy weeks too.

What happens if a scheduled Facebook post fails?

Networks refuse posts for a handful of reasons: an expired connection, media in a format they don't accept, a caption over the limit or a temporary outage on their side. Postuva handles each one differently. Temporary errors (timeouts, rate limits, the network being down) are retried automatically after one minute, five minutes and thirty minutes. Permanent errors are not retried, because sending the same broken request again only wastes time.

When a post can't be published, it turns red on the calendar and shows Facebook's exact error message, not a vague “something went wrong”. If a Page's access has expired or you lost admin rights, the channel shows a Reconnect button. Fix the cause, press Retry and the post goes out straight away.

Is it safe to connect Facebook to Postuva?

Yes. Postuva connects through Facebook's official sign-in, which opens in a small pop-up window on Facebook's own website. You approve exactly what Postuva may do there; Postuva never sees your password. The access token Facebook returns is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it's stored, and it's only decrypted at the moment a post is published.

You can disconnect at any time, either from Postuva's Channels page or from Facebook's Settings → Business integrations. Disconnecting deletes the stored token immediately. Posts already published stay on Facebook; scheduled posts for that channel stop.

How much does it cost to schedule Facebook posts?

The free plan includes 3 channels, 30 scheduled posts a month and 20 AI rewrites, with no time limit and no card. That's enough to schedule Facebook alongside two other networks and see whether planning ahead works for you.

Paid plans start at $15 a month (Creator: 10 channels, unlimited posts, 300 AI rewrites). Pro at $29 adds approvals, extra workspaces and team members, and Agency at $79 covers 150 channels for client work. Yearly billing gives you two months free. Every plan includes every network, so Facebook never costs extra.

Frequently asked questions

Can I schedule Facebook posts for free?

Yes. The free plan includes 3 channels and 30 scheduled posts a month. Each Facebook Page counts as one channel.

Can I manage several Facebook Pages?

Yes. Every Page you choose during sign-in becomes its own channel, and you can publish to any combination of them at once.

Can I post to a Facebook group?

No. Meta no longer lets third-party apps publish to groups. Postuva posts to Pages only.

Will scheduled posts get less reach than posts made in Facebook?

Meta has said it doesn't penalise posts published through its official API. Reach depends on the content and when your audience is online.
